On Wednesday, April 27th Beyond Bullets took part in a screening at Maysles Cinema in Harlem. It was an honor to screen Bullets in the Hood at such an esteemed community space which was founded by renowned filmmaker Albert Maysles.

On Wednesday, April 27th at 7:30 PM The Maysles Cinema will present the Beyond Bullets: Gun Violence in America curated by Sylvia Savadjian. This event will feature three films on the topic of gun violence in America. The films include Living for 32 directed by Kevin Breslin, Bullets in the Hood: A Bed- Stuy Story, directed by Terrence Fisher and Daniel Howard, and A Harlem Mother directed by Ivana Todorovic.

Join us on Thursday, November 18th at LaunchPad, a terrific new arts space in Crown Heights, for a night of films and discussion about gun violence in the neighborhood. We are delighted to work with our partners at Crown Heights Community Mediation Center and Kings County Cinema Society to present this FREE public screening of short films about the impact of gun violence on local communities.

We are thrilled to work with DCTV Presents to screen BeyondBullets.org short videos and Ivana Todorovic's superb short film, A Harlem Mother at our home base, Downtown Community Television Center. After months of successful screenings at schools and community centers throughout NYC, now it's time to share this work with our DCTV community. The screening will be part of LoMAL's Fall Downtown series.
