Does Society Need Guns? |

What does it mean to be a "responsible" gun owner? What is a responsible use of guns? Could civilization exist without such weapons, or do we need them to protect ourselves? If so, who are we protecting ourselves from? Finally, what types of legislation will help reduce gun violence if guns should, indeed, be legal?

These are big questions that a group of high school students at the High School for Enterprise, Business and Technology are asking themselves as our guest bloggers. The students will start blogging for us in the next few weeks, and they'll spend their weekly journalism class focusing on these issues.
