Help Pass Microstamping Bill in New York State |
Our partners at New Yorkers Against Gun Violence have been working tirelessly to pass the 2010 New York Microstamping Bill, a simple measure that would require gun manufacturers to microstamp any new model of semi-automatic handgun so these guns can easily be traced to crimes.
This bill has the support of police departments and mayors all across our state, yet on Tuesday, June 15th, the New York State Senate voted the bill down. Although this is extremely disappointing, the bill is still alive and NYAGV is continuing to fight for its passage. Help them pass this simple legislation, which in no way infringes on the right to gun ownership!
