Jessie Auritt produced the documentary "The Price of Education", while a student at Tufts University. She has worked for the Discovery Network, Vault.com, IFC.com, and The New York Daily News.
Hemamset Angaza graduated from Brooklyn College with a degree in Film Production. Hemamset is currently directing "In Our Heads", a feature-length documentary on black women, hair and identity. He has also directed a short documentary about art therapy.
Gilberto Francisco is a graduate of DCTV's PRO-TV program, where he produced short documentaries that played at the Tribeca and Hamptons Film Festivals. He received an honorable mention Emmy for his film "Expectations".
Kat Keene Hogue hails from North Carolina and is currently freelancing as a cinematographer, journalist and documentary filmmaker in New York. Her work has been commissioned by outlets including MTV, HBO, NPR, The Washington Post and The New Yorker.
Negesti Cantave is a young filmmaker from Bedford-Stuyvesant who recently won a Tribeca Film Institute Fellowship. She is currently working on a documentary about gentrification in her neighborhood.
Hena Ashraf graduated with a degree in Film and Video Studies & Political Science from the University of Michigan. The World Islamic Economic Forum invited Hena to Kuala Lumpur to show her work, including her latest film "TruthSearch".
