Rosa Parks Drive | Detroit, MI

Our partners at Blue Babies, an organization that helps young adults transition out of the foster care system, is led by one of those innovative, dedicated people that Detroit is known for. Saba Jebri is a powerhouse, and she’s changing the lives of young people for the better and for the long-term. One awesome thing Saba is doing is helping her youth participants start a new business hosting Detroit historical tours. They took DCTV on one of their tours, and it was the best lesson in Detroit’s African-American history we’d ever had. One of the young women in the program was our gracious host, all dressed up like Rosa Parks. We are so pleased to be working with Blue Babies, and I hope more people take notice of the work they’re doing. They are low on funds, like everyone, but the work they’re doing is more.

amazing work

This sounds like such a cool project. If I'm ever in Detroit I'll definitely have to look them up.
